no matter what happens throughout the course of our lives, there will never be a pause button
life will continue to pass regardless of any trials or tribulations we are going through
i have changed dramatically over the past 2 years (well it will be 2 years next month)
and it's all because of one reason... finding Jesus
i no longer worry about things i used to such as money and how will this ever happen
i have learned to enjoy the "finer" things of life
which to me are things like watching the baby learn the feeling of daddy's scruffy face
and watching someone's entire countenance change when hearing a testimony
some worldly people still have yet to understand me
and though the scales over their eyes may become frustrating
i have to step back and realize that i was the same way for 20 years
all i can do is pray for them.. and that can sometimes seem unbearable
it's such a blessing to watch life throw someone a curve ball
then God steps in and guides you in hitting a home run
just so the loaded bases can hurry home and be safe
which really upsets the enemy because now his ball is out of the park
so regardless of what type of ball comes at you
regardless of all the circumstances happening around you
stay focused on what's in front of you... the Lord
and forget about the crowd behind you because it will cause you to stumble
learning the ways of God can be such an adventure
of course we will always have "junk" to go through
but just knowing that Jesus went through it all and then was crucified because of His love for us
will give you a comfort and a sound mind that would otherwise be unobtainable
so don't let "life" get you down
enjoy the moments that upset you
because then you can look at Jesus for guidance
and in the end you become stronger
